Hi there 👋🏼

Approximately, three weeks ago I moved to Amsterdam to intern at the most awesome online marketing agency! #BaasenBaas My first few weeks have been quite hectic, which is why I did not have much time to explore the city. I definitely need to get used to the area. Keep on reading to see how it went!

Every day I ride the bike to take the ferry to Amsterdam Central Station. I am so happy that I live across the water. The view is truly breathtaking, I can most certainly get used to this. 😍 Many of these blue-and-white ferries can be found directly behind Central Station, providing a frequent and free service across the water to and from Amsterdam Noord.

A’DAM Lookout is an observation deck with an unrivalled panoramic view of Amsterdam. There is a massive swing on the sky deck. Daredevils and thrill seekers will swing 100 meters above the ground, back and forth over the edge of the tower with Amsterdam below their feet. Unfortunately, it was cold and rainy (the weather changes every three minutes around here), so I did not swing from the roof top. But I will go back soon! #Promise However, I did strike a pose on the sky deck:

Thankfully, I can rely on my colleagues for some indoor fun. We recently have moved the table tennis to our office. I still need to get the hang of it as I have not won a single time. But they had years and years of practice!

Just one more thing: Never leave your bike unlocked around here. Do not assume your wheels are safe just because your frame is locked up because we have some dangerous wheel thieves! Yep…:
